Welcome to our first website! (A better, more complete one is in the works)
We’ll be adding helpful info not only on video doorbells (Ring and other brands too) and other security products, but also relevant information about neighborhoods nearby, changing patterns of property crime and other updates from local police departments.
We’ll also be answering questions, separating useful information from the commercial hype, and finding programs that can help those with financial, physical, or isolation challenges.
For example, medic-alert type of addons to a basic video doorbell, interior cameras shared with family, friends, or caretakers, to supplement visits by nurse or other assistance. Just as monitors in the nursery offer peace of mind to new parents, so can a low-cost interior camera add-on to a video doorbell for security. This 2-way conversation, combined with smart health monitors can extend everyone’s comfort with an isolated parent unwilling to give up their independence.
Facebook has proven itself a useful communication and connectivity tool, but there are many who do not participate; we hope to be able to extract good information from the 90% Facebook noise and present it here as the website/blog grows.
Youtube also is a great resource for tutorials and product information, and we’ll likewise be trying to separate the good info from the junk and offer it here, so you can make even better use of your video doorbell.
